Adam Yates attacked by giant inflatable spider in Tour de France
If you've watched the Tour de France, you may have seen the inflatable '1 km to go' arch that straddles the road - sometimes known as the 'spider'. Adam Yates was just ahead of the peleton for the stage when this happened:

Luckily Yates was basically OK, and the following motorbike didn't hit him. Yates was given a time based on the situation with 3km to go, which puts him in 2nd for the overall Tour times.
