I had heard of another horse Empire something or other that is supposed to be a strong contender as well.

....he finished a well beaten 3rd in the Holy Bull a couple of weeks ago. It looks like he may have some issues. I think his trainer is backing off on him a little bit to try to figure him out. He's a well bred horse and has a lot of talent.
