Why is Ndamukong Suh still playing in the league? (Original Post) Cuthbert Allgood Oct 2017 OP

Had his forearm on another player's throat while he was on the ground and the announcers were complaining he was flagged for that because he didn't hit him in the head or something like that.

Or that's what he said so the NFL showed videos of him making clean hits to show the difference apparently he never cared about making clean plays.

The choking thing in the NFL is not new and as someone who was choked before to the point of almost dying I really want to see it go away. 2 years ago the Cardinals were on the road in 49ers a 49er ST player choked a Cardinal on the ground and ran off the field cheering it even though they were losing the game and the refs and announcers completely let it go.

Which is why he's still playing. But he's dirty, and violent, and willing to hurt opposing players. I grew up watching the NFL, but have no interest now -- it's a violent sport that causes serious physical damage to the players.

when Clay Matthews was talking about how bad that hit on Rodgers was from Burr and how he would never do that.

He cheap shotted Kaepernick and Carson Palmer. The hit by Barr was clean. Rodgers was out of the pocket. That's football. Rodgers was whining about it on Conan.

Yeah, Aaron, Barr hits you hard enough that you have to leave the field but there were ZERO cameras that caught him flipping you off and give you the suck it gesture. That's some ninja shit right there on Barr's part to avoid all those cameras.

Total bs. Rodgers was swearing at Barr for the hit and McCarthy was freaking out. I was on the 50 yard line during it. Some asshats were also trying to say Vikings players were laughing and tainting Rodgers after the injury. Utter crap.

Until he does something horrible he'll have a contract.

Look at Adam "Pac Man" Jones. Trouble at WVU at Tennessee in the NFL. Suspended a whole season. Missed 22 out of 28 games. "Made it rain" at a strip club causing a stripper riot. There was all kinds of speculation about if he would ever get back into the league in 2009. I remember Jimmy Johnson saying on Fox pregame "He'll be okay. As long as he has that speed and is willing to play the way he does, someone will sign him".

seems like something horrible. I'm not one to give a shit about what they do off the field (within reason and legality, of course). But this guy does enough on the field.

no, we don't love it and expect it. That's dirty, cheap shit. It has no place on the field.

They only thing this guy has had going for him is playing dirty. He's not any good with doing something that should get him thrown out of the game and suspended.

Guy graduated early with a degree in mechanical engineering while playing D1 football.

He has to be smart enough to know where the line is. I don't think he cares where it is.
