(3,396 posts)They were champs 13 years ago. There are 24 teams in MLB. So how they can be the sixth most miserable in all of sports is puzzling. My Oakland As, by comparison, havent won a World Series since 1989, have won only one playoff series since 1990, and theyre listed at 38th.

(10,156 posts)10 years of mediocre management, terrible drafting, awful signings, coaching changes every other year, constant spare parts playing top line minutes. Being a fan is certainly a depressing thing and has been for a while now.

And, as a 52-year-old life-long Vikings fan, I think they have them WAY too low on that list now that I understand it. It is a yearly let down cheering for the Vikings.
