White Men Can't Jump

...he had YouTube videos of his dunks to attract recruiters.
He's been dunking since he was a junior in high school.
I'm fond of him because I was one of the white guys who could jump.
I still hold my high school's standing vertical leap record & I set it in 1973. In college, 2 years later I used their measuring contraption and did 1.75" higher. Almost 45".
If my hands were bigger, I think I could have done some fun dunks. But, I always needed both hands so it took some flash out of it.
It's fun when guys you don't know see you jump for the first time! On the playground one time, I blocked a jump shot from a 6'1" guy I came over to help on. He said "All I saw was hips going by.". I'm only 5'9".
Matt has pretty big hands for his size so he can do some special things.
He's in the G league because he's a poor defender. He basically peaked as an all around player in his freshman year at G'town.
But, he is exciting!
