At least 4 of the 8 players have publicly complained about the hastily built surface and their not having the chance to practice on it. More evidence of how badly managed this tour is, compared to the men’s tour. Last year’s finals in Texas were also disastrous—slapped together hurriedly, very few fans in the stands, etc.
