Brandon Crawford's 2 homers help Giants finish sweep

Atlanta -- Madison Bumgarner said a mouthful as he pondered the Giants' 4-1 victory Sunday and their sweep at Turner Field.

"I don't remember the last time we swept the Braves here," Bumgarner said. "It hasn't been when I was here."

He can say that again. Bumgarner was not on this earth when the Giants last swept a three-gamer in Atlanta. It happened in 1988, a year before he was born.

Wacky stuff is happening for the Giants, but a good wacky.

None of the 25 players was born - not even old man Tim Hudson - the last time any team swept a series of at least three games without a single hit with runners in scoring position, as the Giants did in beating the Braves 2-1, 3-1 and 4-1.
