Sandhill cranes are back in SE WI,

Flying over all day long Thursday and Friday, probably several hundred over all.

Haven't seen a buzzard yet, don't know if I just missed seeing the first ones, or if they're a bit behind...

I saw one Thursday, and 8 were circling over my town today. Also have seen robins, grackles, and a Red-Winged Blackbird. I do believe that spring is springing.

However, I have not seen Sandhill Cranes.....we do have some that summer south of me, but I haven't heard if they are back yet.

I looked up to see hundreds of vultures migrating. Had no idea they were so beautiful in flight.

I am a big Turkey Vulture fan...effortless soaring without appearing to move a muscle.
