He looks like a young bird. I wonder if he might not be one of last years babies?
I like to see them on the box but wonder if they will nest in it or on it.
I'm hoping for on it...can't see the all the growing inside the box.

and usually take 1+ year off in their summer/southern vacay place to mature.

Alleged reason they don't return to home nest is to keep their genes healthy, and not confused with cousins.
