stay together, catch fish, and build where you can. (SORRY didn't catch pic of osprey with fish Monday morning.)

I just get the sense ghey are discobulated.

Doesn't look like they are building on owl box.

Any chance Mrs. Goose might go off to hunt?

and I hope leave the nest area to raise them; she hasn't been visible to me recently.

A friend who watches geese etc said it's possible, once she/they leave, the ospreys will return to big old nest, and do eggs + chicks!!! Fingers crossed.

The pair 'builds' stuff on owl box every day, and it gets pushed off; they do return to it, however.

Have seen goslings following adults around my yard in past years, when they were NOT on the nest. Looking for pics among my 'memories,' and will post.

Geese stay in nest 28 days. Then move babies to a pond. Can geese get to water without flying?

BIG nest is above the CREEK, so no problem for them to find water.

She suggested removing the owl box, to avoid use again, if unsatisfactory.

Next year, you can put a sign on the nest--"Reserved For Ospreys".

Hope they hang around to raise their brood this year.

Ms. Osprey's "necklace" feathers are so fluffed up by the wind, she looks like she's wearing a ruffly blouse!

Count me in with those who are hoping the geese will be out of there in time for the ospreys to move in, incubate, and rear their chicks. 🤞
