consider my bird feeders their very own cafeteria. Morning Doves are their favorite, but I've seen them take Cardinals too. Who knows what else they've taken while I wasn't watching.

I don't bother them. It's nature, and Mother Nature knows best.

There's a red-tailed hawk that shows up from time to time here. As far as I can tell, it leaves the diners at the neighbor's bird feeder alone.

Birds my thing, especially osprey. No feeders here, 'just' the river and creek. Have seen, but haven't caught hawks. Have caught eagles.
