(9,898 posts)I just wanted to share this crop of a hummingbird. (taken yesterday) I might try early mornings and evenings, but the light is reduced, and I need all the light I can get for shutter speed.
Without further ado, "gossamer wings". You can see through them in this pic.

(31,062 posts)I made two trips out there yesterday and I slept late today. (I live on a ridge)
Hummingbirds usually visit my neighbor, the one with all the bird feeders, and I wait for the wildflowers to bloom.
Might be time for some feeders over here!!
However, the flowers and birds make for sweet photos.
