Marc Davis made a mistake in hiring Josh McDaniels.

He failed miserably in Denver as head coach. What is up with these owners who keep giving this guy head coaching chances while there are some deserving coordinators who can't get a shot?

McDaniels play calling in the second half of the Cardinals' came was abysmal. He kept calling running plays in the second half, into the middle of the line without varying them up. How about a pitchout since the Cardinals were stacking the box, or a screen to the back?

And then in overtime when all we needed was a couple of positive running plays to get within field goal range, all McDaniels called was pass plays, two resulted in fumbles...one recovered, one lost with a long return for a TD and a loss.

God, the season is just about over and it just started.

Get rid of this guy and give a deserving coordinator a chance. There are three I can name off the top of my head.

1. Pretty easy to look smart when you're coaching Tom Brady

I didn’t get this hire at all. As evident by many of Jimmy Johnson’s coordinators- just because you’re a good coordinator doesn’t mean you are going to be a good head coach.

including me, wonder if it was Brady, not Belichick who was the reason for team's long dynasty atop the league, as the Pats haven't had much success since Brady left. But Brady has, having won a Super Bowl in his first year away, and a great run last year deep into the playoffs.

I say McDaniels had his shot with Denver and failed. Give someone else a chance.

2. I like the Chargers, so I say leave Josh McDaniels where he is.

And a special thanks to Mike Davis for the two easy wins this season.

and that's the worst I've seen. There's so much potential on that team. They just need an adequate coach even because with all that talent, they just need someone not to screw it up.

Al Davis before he lost it, knew how to pick good coaches as well as players. Looks like Marc just inherited the good player gene. IMO he should've stayed with the guy who replaced Gruden.
