UGA National Champions!!!!! For all the underdogs in the world, Stetson Bennett, a walk on!!!!

who defeated Heisman Trophy winner, Al quarterback Bryce Young for the National Championship!!!!!

Could there be a better story!!1 I am thrilled!

And not to mention that Herschel Walker now fades to the past!!!!

Oh, and now Kirby Smart has now defeated his mentor, Al coach, Sabin!!!! I LOVE IT!

I had some hope that AL running over Cincinnati would work to UGA advantage, it seems I was right.

On that touchdown that put them up 26-18, that's only eight points, which is still just one score. I thought for sure they'd go for two to make the score 27-18, which at nine points would have made it a two-score game with 3:33 left, which would have just about nailed the coffin lid shut. So I was really surprised when they lined up to just kick the extra point.

That my Dawgs have a national championship that in no way relates to Herschel Walker. When he stumped for Trump in 2016, I took everything with Walker’s name on it down and put it away. I can’t even watch old highlights of his. When I was 13 in 1980, I idolized him. Now I am embarrassed he was ever associated with UGA.

And now he’s become far less relevant than he’s ever been.
