(21,847 posts)I don't want to be in a confined space with recirculated air, as in an airplane. I am also concerned that where I'd like to go may turn into a hotbed of the virus.

(38,958 posts)I was thinking about Ireland this year, but between the virus and the pounding they have taken with storms of late. Perhaps another year would be in order.

(5,227 posts)Don't want to be captive on the high seas. Too many unknowns. Could have fellow passengers sick, or could be denied port access because of the virus. Hubby has chronic lung issues and can't take the chance. Hopefully we can postpone til next winter, but will take the loss, if necessary. Q

(23,314 posts)We cancelled our every other year trip to New Zealand. Not panicking or anything but my husband and I are self employed at the same two businesses...we really cant both be sick at the same time. It would be a real hardship. We will do a little traveling here in the US if this doesnt get too out of hand.
