Bishop of Buckingham supports marriage equality

Although the Church of England presently does not perform LGBT weddings, many members and prelates support a move to accept them. At a debate in Kidlington, the Bishop of Buckingham added his voice to the numbers.

1. The Anglican Communion theology of sex can shed light on the Catholic and Orthodox communities.

It already has communion with many Orthodox churches. The RCC differs from the Orthodox primarily on matters of ecclesiology. The Orthodox apparently have no theological objection to people in same sex marriages partaking fully in the liturgy. If there's to be a breakthrough, I expect it to come from this avenue.

2. I foresee the time when they will change their position on this.

I hope it is in my lifetime.
