The article state the father was taking the family's money for drugs.

An Akron father and son were fighting over money when the son was stabbed to death last week, police said Monday.

The father, Kevin Golec, had a drug problem and had been taking money from the family, Akron police Lt. Rick Edwards said.

The Summit County medical examiner identified the victim as Brian Golec, 22, and said he died from a stab wound to the neck.
