Trump: When I’m in Office, Every Store Will Be Saying “Merry Christmas”

Donald Trump told a crowd in Iowa this week that when he’s in office, he’ll guarantee that every store will say “Merry Christmas.” Even though he can’t.

Trump added that it’s a travesty for “them” to “take away the word ‘Christmas’”… even though no one’s doing that. Some stores just prefer that employees say “Happy Holidays” because their customers aren’t all Christians. It’s a better umbrella phrase.

Trump is merely demonstrating what we’ve all known for a long time: inclusivity and respect for other people are not Christian traits.

especially in Kosher delis and Korean markets? You gonna issue a proclamation from the White House and get every non Christian jailed for thinking maybe Christians don't actually own all the holidays in winter?

Or are you just running scared because that right wing lunatic Carson speaks better Hypocrite Code than you do?

Organized religion has always been an us/them proposition, with an underlying understanding that your "faith" and practices are true and correct, and everyone else's are flawed to some extent. "Inclusivity" usually means trying to bring the rest of the world under the umbrella of your faith, whether by persuasion or force.
