A Modest Suggestion for Derivative Posts in the Religion Group:

If your post includes a quote that was copied and pasted from another thread, please surround the quoted material with quotation marks, name the original poster and include a link to that other thread. That way, what you copy and paste can be viewed in its original context. That will help avoid misunderstandings, I think. It's probably a good idea, really, for use anywhere you copy and paste something you didn't write.

Context is often crucial to understanding. Without it, someone's words might be misconstrued or misused.
