Not in any way. If someone tells me they are religious believers, I take them at their word. And then, I observe their behavior, because actual behavior is the only way to judge what kind of person someone is.

toward people who aren't religious? Besides that, you've classified an awful lot of people as non-religious who probably aren't. A priest's collar, a Jewish man's yarmulke, and a chaplain's collar insignia are examples of overt signs that those people are religious.
