What created the creator that created the creator? That's the only question:

And the answer is very simple: No creators. They are not required. There is no need for a "creator" at all.

The universe and whatever contains it just ARE. What contains the container also just IS. We can try to understand them, of course, but that is of no consequence, really. Whether or not we understand, existence exists.

It's a matter of curiosity for our limited brains to ponder, but it's of no importance, really. As insignificant as humans are, the question is equally so. The universe we inhabit has apparently existed for something around 14 Billion years. Humans? Less than a blink of an eye, really, in comparison. Civilization and Religion? They've existed for such a short time that it can hardly even be measured. None of that matters. If we had never existed, it still wouldn't matter. Existence would still exist.

It does not matter. Yes, one can imagine an infinite series of creator deities and creations they've created, if that satisfies the mind. Or one can imagine an infinite number of turtle universes standing on each others' backs. Same thing, Same unending series. Turtles all the way down. None of those matter, either.

We seem to want to believe that it matters. It doesn't. Not one little bit. Accepting that it doesn't matter is the first step to clear thinking. Then, we can go about being curious about the properties of the universe we inhabit, without the complication of trying to figure out origins and causes, etc. Those don't matter. either. They're just hobbies we use to occupy our minds for a few decades.

Existence exists. We inhabit an existence. That's really enough. If we want to study our existence, that's fine, but it doesn't matter. We will exist in the same way whether we understand it or not. So will my dog, my cat, or the protozoa in the puddle on the sidewalk. It's all just part of the existence that exists. Individually, we come and we go. We exist and then we do not. That much is clear. That's enough. I get to occupy some space and experience existence for a brief interval. I'm good with that, but my existence doesn't matter, either, on the larger scale.

There is no need for gods. There is no need for a creator or creators of creators. There is no need for unanswerable questions about origins of this or any other existence. It simply IS. It's very interesting, but it just IS. Its nature is fascinating, but our study of it changes nothing about it. It's just a hobby.

For all I know, there could be an infinity of hobbyists. It doesn't matter, though. Truly, it does not.

So we need to know where it (what ever "it" is) came from. So we make some shit up to satisfy that need.. Hang a name on it and then the marketing comes in and so on...
That's just me... YMMV

So, our weak intellects try to create a simpler, artificial order. Understanding that we cannot actually understand is a crucial step to understanding that our understanding doesn't matter one bit.

How's that for a convoluted sentence?

And the beat goes on...

Understanding that is key to understanding that none of it matters. Things just ARE.
