Do you put God above or below yourself?

Do you put God above or below yourself?
God here I define as a best ideal, natural or supernatural or whatever you gives ther best rules and laws to live by.
Consider first, that you are an animal first, and anything else after your mental birth.
The God, or best ideal or type of an ant, is an ant.
The God, or best ideal or type of a lion, is a lion.
The God, or best ideal or type of a human being, is a human being.
We are natural and spiritual beings, not supernatural beings, and should thus follow a natural and spiritual religion, not a supernatural based religion.
Thoughts?

Anyway, there is no divine being that tells us what to do and punishes us if we disobey. That's all that concerns me.

I agree and feel the same way.

The Bible even says that, but those who believe in the supernatural miss that bit of wisdom and advice.

No point in getting the quote here.

Preachers say that there is a God and perhaps you and others call them out as liars.

I do.

You should be above them, and stop phrasing your opinion as a fact, when it cannot be shown to be one.

There is absolutely no evidence that God exists, so your question is moot.

You phrased your question in a way that says god does exist. Who's the liar?

One of those things is an incredible superstitious claim and the other is firmly based in reason. If I say it's a fact the sun will rise tomorrow you could certainly say that's not a fact, but for all practical purposes it is and is beyond silly to say it technically isn't.

13. Do you know your nature?
Thu Mar 7, 2024, 04:56 PM

If you can believe in your real beginning, you will know thyself.

Knowing thyself is said to be the main way of gaining knowledge.

I took my wife time travelling, mentally that is, the other night, from our present time, down to where she first became aware of herself as alive. Her “I am” moment.

At her present time, I had her admit that she was working towards her best possible end to her life. Just as I and all those who are reading this do. We do this perpetually and constantly.

I then had her follow her timeline back to her beginning, having to admit that her best end was always her prime focus, as it is with all life. Amendment. She agreed to all times except for the “I am”. I don’t know what to make of this lack of logic after following a plain logic trail. This aside.

“I am”, read that as “you and I”, is quite selfish. Universal this in life.

Some thank God. I thank nature and my God, I am, should he/I end in being real.

We are all expressed by our DNA and chemistry. It produces a material dualism that has most of us thinking in a body soul way. 95%.

What is the best end to our bodies, given that our DNA is telling us we are the best of breed?

Read that as King or Queen, or Alpha/Beta in our physical animal reality.

What is the best end for our bodies and souls is that we should try to become leaders of humans?

What is the best end for our souls is to become leader of heaven. Remember that Jesus dethroning his father.

We are all born wanting to be masters of both the physical world, and the other imagined supernatural world, should it be real.

I still have my initial desire to show my best of breed fitness in both the physical and spiritual realms. I still want to be King or God.

Do you?

What are you doing to further your first thinking and goal in life on becoming our next King/God or Queen/Goddess?

I recognize that we are all in this together, alone. The cosmic consciousness like entity and consciousness you envisage, I think I found during my apotheosis.

It is more like our consciousness uploading to a mainframe and being able to access the whole data bases while still maintaining our own initial consciousness and memories.

No one believes in apotheosis or telepathy and I cannot see myself letting myself disappear in some larger consciousness.

I will always want to be together with the all, alone.

Variety is the spice of life and without it, who would need a morals sense.

Chances for either aliens or supernatural Gods are dropping quickly, as both science and religion now have Gods of the Gaps that they both cannot explain and that contradict what has been assumed.

That was a part of why the early Christianity had respect and grew like a wildfire.

A shame that supernatural thinking corrupted it.

It does have gaps - they’re observable phenomena that cannot be explained yet.

The phrase ‘god of the gaps’, which you utterly misused, refers to a theist argument that claims any unexplained phenomenon is proof of god. Science just doesn’t do that.

Who but a person can express anything about any God?

They are all man made.

If we define God, as the best rules and laws we can find to follow, then that ideal, whatever it is, is your God.

We all have an ideal, call it God or whatever you like.

Just be Gnostic Christian about it and be willing to scrap a law if a better one comes along.

That is how you will spot a wise Gnostic Christian, --- and reject the brain dead supernatural Christian believers who end in calling an evil Yahweh good.

The supreme being was hidden and good. All matter was created by the evil second god, the Yahweh of the bible. It was sort of a mashup of Manichaeism and early Christianity. They did however believe that each person should find salvation within themselves.
