I meant to start a thread on this last night; before I went to sleep I sent him good vibes for a deep and restful sleep, to awaken refreshed and infused with positive energy, ready to do battle!
We've got your back, President Obama. Keeping expectations and hopes realistic...be there, be on, do what only you can do. Remember NO APOLOGIES! Remember KISS!!!!!!
*You started with a double set of books -- with $2T in unpaid for wars. You restored honesty and integrity to our bookkeeping so we can know where we really stand.
*You ended the Iraq war on schedule and will end the Afghanistan war on schedule.
*You helped the Libyan people free themselves from Ghadaffi.
*You crushed al Qaeda.
*The economy was in free-fall. You prevented a second Great Depression.
*When you started, we were bleeding >700,000 jobs per month; now it's growing >100,000 jobs/month.
*You started with a double set of books -- with $2T in unpaid for wars. You restored honesty and integrity to our bookkeeping so we can know where we really stand.
*You saved $700B in fraudulent Medicare payments to providers and insurance companies. That made healthcare coverage available to all Americans, not just the lucky ones.
*You inherited a Republican house who's leadership made its top priority taking control of the white house by obstruction at the expense of the American people.
There's a single, basic response to *every* position Romney claims. We can't be sure what he believes because his position depends on his audience. It depends on who he's talking to.
*One day he says he'll appoint a Supreme Court that will overturn Roe v Wade and ban abortion. The next day he claims he won't restrict abortions.
*He says he'll ask Bibi what Bibi wants the US to do; he awaits Bibi's instructions on Iran.
*One day he says his Middle East policy will be to kick the can down the road because the Palistinian people don't want peace. The next day he says he'll seek a 2-state solution.
*He says he'll be tough on China. His track record says he holds large stakes in Chinese companies.
* He says he's the best person to create jobs. His track record says he offshores American jobs to China. His track record as Gov. of Massachusetts dropped it to 47th in the nation in job creation.
* He says he'll cut taxes by $5T and cut the deficit and national debt....but won't say how. There aren't enough loopholes to do both. There aren't even $5T in loopholes, let alone enough to pay for a $5T tax cut *and* to cut the deficit. It's simple arithmetic and it doesn't add up.
