I just received a message from BlueIris. I'll just post what she said.

Okay, so, my Mom is really sick. She is in intensive care and not really expected to wake up. I would hoping you would think a few positive thoughts for the best outcome here, even if it is her transition to the afterlife, and possibly pass the word along to any A, S, & AHers you may know in other forums. I would do it myself, but I can't post on DU anymore.

I don't know why she thinks she can't post here since her account is still active, unless it's a personal decision. I don't do FB so maybe someone here can pass this on to the ASAH group there. I think she would appreciate it.

6. Sad news.

Again in BlueIris's own words.

My mother died at 9:19 this morning. I feel that she had a swift and successful crossing over. Thanks for letting the A, S, and AH crowd know of our circumstances; all of you really helped me and the family over the last decade.

This must be a rough time for mothers. I just found out a few days ago that my mother has terminal esophageal cancer. Needless to say that I am a total wreck and have to travel to Ohio very soon as it may be the last time I get to see her alive.

I'll put you in my prayers BlueIris and ask that other ASAHers put me in theirs!

the sadness seems to be all around us lately. what often carries us through that fear and pain of what happens is joy. may you get to share a moment of joy with your mom again.

Icymist, I am so sorry to learn of your mother's condition. My heart goes out to you.
