And to their credit, they feature scholarly experts who study this stuff. For once I am impressed with how they handled this story. I'll bet the materialists were hiding under their beds with their hands over their ears.

I also like that program.

When so-called "mainstream" news presents this in the context of academic research, it truly is something to note. This is why I posted it.

It will be very interesting to see how this is incorporated or not incorporated into existing beliefs. For example, will the Roman Catholic Church start noting Biblical references that point to reincarnation, and then claim a new way of seeing scripture?

5. Not sure if the churches...

...will be able to adapt. They seem to have everything invested in the belief that you only have one chance to get it right. Of course, the economic and social system also employs this philosophy.

Perhaps the biggest struggle will be in the institutions of criminal justice where the ultimate authority lays. How can you enforce discipline if everybody gets a 'mulligan'....????

Seriously though, I think revelations like this are part of the long foretold consciousness-shift that takes the planet to another level of awareness. The medical breakthroughs, the television shows and the conversations like this one all contribute to a higher consciousness. The 'left-brainers', when not rendered silent, express anger when realizing that their vast knowledge is incomplete.

I read this fascinating book about a mother's search for her past life children. It was eventually made into a movie, "Yesterday's Children", starring Jane Seymour.
