"The debts will not be paid"
Blog post originally from http://sorms.blogspot.com/2012/01/debts-will-not-be-paid.html
Found on CMN... <snip> "But there are many sources that analyze the decline of debt based monetary systems; that’s not the purpose here. The underlying question that we need to begin to address is the purpose of money. <snip> Here’s what’s interesting. What we are discovering is that the exchange between human beings seems to rely less and less on this abstract concept. We exchange all sorts of ideas without the involvement of money. There are many websites, perhaps the one that you are reading this on, that provide information without charging money. We can download operating systems and applications without the use of money. The use of those tools can add tremendous value to the lives of those who use them. The exchange seems to be based on the desire to share and the need to make a contribution. For some time the business community has viewed the individuals who develop these tools and share them without the use of money as whack jobs who just don’t understand how economic systems work. It’s beginning to dawn on some of us that it may be the other way around." more @ link...

6. Are you willing to share your sermon, after the fact?
Either here, or perhaps you have your own blog (or should start one)?
The reason i ask is that this is a theme I'm working on in my own mind and planning to write an article or -- something -- about it, and I'm still in the research and development stage. I'd love to see your take on it. This is a BIGGGGGG deal, a gigantic trend that's already well in the works, I think tho, as I said, I'm still in the R&D stage. |

8. Sure
I highly suggest Lynne Twist's The Soul of Money. It's an incredible book.

7. Free reality.
It's what we get when we free reality!
The Free Software movement is one of the primary early examples, the "operating systems and applications" that the referred article cites. |

9. and I am running into sooo many more --
it's astonishing, in a very wonderful way.
Did you know, for example, that M.I.T. just opened their online doors to give free education to ANYone, anywhere -- online? True, there's no diploma involved, but people can get a certificate. Still, imagine the possibilities. My heart absolutely soared when I read about it. Little things -- BIG things -- like that make me know we are well on our way to our Golden Age. Bring. It. On, Baby! |
