Okay, Spirits, here's the deal...I got in last night and got started EARLY thie morning

I am treating at CTCA in Goodyear, Arizona and it's an integrated care program where you see an oncologist, nutritionists, Naturapaths, nutritionists, care manager, etc, etc. I had a CT scan EARLY this morning and the thing about CTCA is that you get your results pretty quickly.
So, I get into the room to see my doctors etc. Now, understand that I was scheduled to start up chemotherapy at 2.45 this afternoon and Dr Khemka walked in and starts to ask me the basic questions, (how I'm feeling etc). Then, he springs it on me, "Melody, I don't understand why but your cancer seems to have stopped dead still. I've read the notes from the doctors who diagnosed you, did your surgery and what they said about your chances. you have a DEADLY cancer and there's no earthly reason for what is happening to you because you shouldn't be here and certainly not doing as well as you are." Then, he went on to say that he didn't think I needed to take more chemo right now, (YAY!!! ), that he wanted to see me in 2 months and I would have to have a PET scan then.
He kept shaking his head and was shaking a bit and the N.P. was grinning like a Cheshire cat.
Chilluns, (LOL), the word got out and everyone came in to congratulate me and ask me what I'm doing. Each care provider had a story of people who had battled the same cancer I have and NONE has had the results you have. (If some of you will remember Jane Goody in the UK and how she only survived 5 months from her dX as compared and contrasted with my case. She had the same cancer)

So, although the cancer isn't gone, it hasn't grown at all and has gone stock still. Dear God, knows that i want to thak each and every one of you for you prayers and I want each one of you to know that i am going to pray for each one of you and willl do anything for you that i can . If you can, please continue to pray for me, that i can finally get rid of this cancer but I'm as happy as a poor flea on a fat dog right now. I was told to continue to do whatever it is I'm doing because it's working.

THANK YOU AGAIN, DEAR SPIRITS, SISTERS AND BROTHERS. I LOVE YOU ALL AND WILL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL FOR EVERYPRAYER YOU OFFERED UP.

Well, done YOU! Knock them traditional medical dudes on their asses! W00t!

Thank you for sacrificing a bit of your health to teach the medical community. You have given them a great gift.

I had a health crisis of my own to deal with back at Thanksgiving. It turned my life upside down but I'm dealing with it. It wasn't cancer. Cancer is a major bummer.
My mother, father and sister all had it.

Melody, that is WONDERFUL WONDERFUL NEWS!!
