In this talk, Fr. Trenham says just this. Do we 'worship' Mary on the same plane and as the same divinity as Jesus Christ? NO. We venerate her and honor her because of her 'saving' participation in bringing forth Christ, the Saviour of mankind.

Understandable, yet defensible, if one at minimum, is open to at least hear/read regarding the foundation/establishment of the Faith in 33 A.D.

Thank you for 'seeking'.

In college many years ago my friend introduced me to the Russian Orthodox. Now he is the Bishop of Syracuse.

I've been to liturgy many times, although most times for Pascha.

Especially the midnight service of Pascha. I have partiality. 😊
