Father Andrew Greeley

In November 2008 Father Greeley was in an accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury, which has pretty much ended his career as a writer. I didn't know if anyone else here was aware of it. Here's a link to an article from 2011.

Is it possible that he was deliberately silenced? The Opus Dei people certainly did not like him.

the door on the edge of his raincoat. When the taxi pulled away, he was knocked down (pulled down) and hit his head on the curb or street. I recall the initial news report.

but the timing was convenient, don't you think? And I think it would have been a simple matter to have the driver make sure the raincoat was caught in the door or the taxi. But I tend to get paranoid, especially with so much BS going on in the Church. In the Church's history, Popes have been assassinated by Cardinals.
