Today's trash packing day. A neighbor buddy tosses them in large wheeled carts out back. They don't want me falling on my backside or any side.
A pair of slide sandals was delivered last week. They were 'wanted' but not 'needed'. 😇 I took them out and left all the forms and tissue paper that usually comes with shoes.
All week I called backtracking stores I visited asking lost and found if they had my prescription sunglasses. No, no, no, no...Went bonkers looking around my place, in the car. Nada.
Just now I took the stuff from the sandal box to toss in trash. Something not expected came out with it. My sunglasses!! I need to get an eye exam and change the prescription but got many pressing things to take care of. What a relief.
I hang glasses on my shirt in front and won't do dat any more. 🙃
I always stop in my tracks when I can't find belongings or 'anything' and ask St. Anthony of Padua for assistance. He always without fail comes thru!
I had to stop in the middle of my chore and testify. I made a vow.
