When Christians use the bible to attack others while not being in compliance themselves. It's akin to a father telling his son, "Boy, if I ever catch you smoking and drinking, I'll skin ya." all while drinking a beer and having a cigarette in his mouth.

I saw a picture on facebook not too long ago that said, "If you're using the bible to attack others, you're using it wrong." Personally, I'd like to use the bible to teach God's love, grace, and mercy.

When a christian asks a pastor to preach harder against sin, they usually mean someone else's.
