(Jewish Group) Iran 'mapping' Jews in diaspora for kill squads

Iran has been “mapping” the Jewish diaspora for an assassination campaign that will be triggered if Israel attacks its nuclear facilities, a Jewish woman who met Ayatollah Khamenei has told the JC.

The chilling plan, disclosed at a high-level meeting in Tehran, involved identifying key Jewish figures and determining “how to strike and where”.

The hit squads would be deployed if Israel ever attacked Iran, she was told, so “the diaspora would have a very nasty surprise”.

The revenge plot was revealed to Catherine Perez-Shakdam, one of the few Westerners to be granted an audience with Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

There are no mass Covid deaths? Not sure what incites your disbelief here.

If you are suggesting no one cares about this story, please know you are wrong. Despite what A of A seems to be saying.

Frankly, I am not wrong. The very first response is to dismiss it out of hand...in the fucking JEWISH GROUP! So, yeah, I think I have a real good reason to be pessimistic. If random squads started killing Jews here and elsewhere, I think it will be nothing more than the empty "thoughts and prayers" shit, and little else, other than the usual suspects blaming Israel for the murder of Jews around the world.

With all the anti-Semitism in the world and even in the US, I have never felt less like a Jewish American; I feel more like a Jew living in America. What really pisses me off, as well, are the number of people who take the time to tell my fucking feelings are wrong or dismiss my concerns out of hand.

I hate this. I am very sorry things have gotten this bad. I have Iranian connections and believe the threat would be made, certainly. Why would anyone doubt that?

While it certainly could be nothing more than bluster on the part of the Iranian government, the possibility is always there. When it comes to threats against Jews, though, I find more and more people "doubting" the veracity of the threats; basically, we have to be dead first then they take the threat seriously, but it is always late for us. Some places are definitely better than others. Sadly, it is not just the right anymore.

I posted this awhile back when it happened (I think), but when I went to a local pride event here in Oklahoma, there was a booth with a variety of pride flags, stickers, etc. Some of those stickers were with the actual pride flag with a cross on it, a Hindu symbol, a symbol of Islam, and a Wiccan symbol. I asked if there was one with a Star of David, and the owner told me they had to pull them all because people were complaining about it. Keep in mind, this was a Star of David imposed over the pride flag and not a pride flag merged with an Israeli flag.

(Jewish Gay Pride)

(Israeli Gay pride)

The fact that the former is pulled from shelves because of the Star of David is pure bigotry, but it is "accepted" by many as not a form of bigotry to do so.

And very frightening. The crazy right wing swing on so many fronts in the US, Britain, Canada and France, and places less surprising, worries me. The racism and antisemitism in the US is real and dangerous.
