Should the world stop talking about the Holocaust?
The answer might be obvious to many, but the BBC wants to open it up to discussion.
As part of its special International Holocaust Remembrance Day programming, the BBC One show The Big Questions held a discussion on the lessons of the Holocaust, and how it is remembered today.
The show, which aired Sunday, featured rabbis, academics, survivors, and educators.

(102,276 posts)I continue to be shocked at how little the generations behind me seem to know of (non-recent) history, current events, and geography. If the Holocaust is to remain a key reminder of what can happen when the world turns a blind eye and a priority for future generations to know/understand, the reasons for why it must be remembered should likewise be part of the discussion.

Seems today with antisemitism being allowed to come back in full force once again, that Europe has yet to internalize and act upon it. Most of Europe was complicit with Germany during WW2.
