Jersey Shore mayor tells constituent to call cops on Jewish 'invaders'

You might expect a New Jersey mayor to ignore a constituent who tweeted a blatantly anti-Semitic complaint about Orthodox Jews “invading” local parks and beaches.

Or maybe rebuke the resident for his racist views.

Instead, Brick Township mayor John Ducey matter-of-factly suggested the resident contact police, according to HuffPo.

Ducey was quickly deluged with negative comments on social media. He sought to explain away his non-confrontational approach.

Lots of little boys wearing yamulkas, who run around and act just like little boys of 7 or 8 or so. Even tho' I'm not Jewish, their Dads and Moms have never forced me out of the store. Never bothered me in any way. Have always been polite and courteous. Everyone just goes about their business. Bread goods in the bakery are wonderful. I'll bet it's like that in the Jersey Shore park too. Except for the Big Kahuna guy is probably bothering the little Jewish boys on the swing sets.
