(Jewish Group) Police investigate Labour member who wrote 'I hate Jews!' on Facebook
Police have launched an investigation into a Labour Party member who was exposed by the JC for writing "I hate Jews!" on Facebook.
Laura Balogh, who is part of the Reading and District Labour Party (RDLP), wrote a lengthy diatribe on Facebook in which she said: "Most Jews I have known have been the most materialist, racist and transphobic bigots I've sadly had to work with...fact...ok?"
She then wrote: "Board of deputies of British Jews seem to be dictating to Labour party demanding expulsions like Ken Livingstone... while hundreds are dying under Jewish bullet fire."
The JC understands that Thames Valley Police are now investigating Ms Balogh over a possible hate speech offence after responding to complaints.
In a further Facebook message written on June 3 last year, Ms Balogh wrote that Israel “an illegitimate apartheid state” would “only be toppled by force.”
She added: "I look forward to Iran having the strength to give it a try and decimate their illegal settlements, turn Tel Aviv to dust.”
