I had no idea there were 108 volcanoes in Japan, wow! I love volcanoes, have since I was a child. What great history and information about the natural history and people. Thanks for sharing. Now I want to hear about udon noodles...wish I could eat some but I can't have gluten. I imagine they're delicious.

I have had MHz Worldview on one of the local PBS channels. They feature world programming 24 hours, including from NHK.
