(4,516 posts)but its fizzling out fast. The main FB group that was promoting it in OK closed. It's the same with the Ides of March protest, an attempt to flood the WH with postcards on 3-15, I've got mine ready to go, but no longer feel confident the protest will make much of an impression.

(344 posts)I'm not surprised some of the smaller marches might be fizzling. Scientists trying to reinvent wheels and all that. Still there are plenty of other marches happening. One may be near enough to you to get there.

(4,516 posts)that was not the group I was in communicating with. I am not new to protesting, but I am new to following the plans online. There are probably a lot of old-timers like me out there that are confused as well.

(344 posts)As a scientist/lawyer I have agonizingly dragged legal groups into the 20th century. Then as the internet generation grew up and joined in, they left us all in the dust.

There are lots of marches in lots of areas, and it's growing faster now, as more people are becoming aware of it. I can't believe the number of people lamenting that we have no protests going on, but who don't know about this. It has been in the works since the Women's March in January.
Go to the website linked above, find the march nearest you and get registered! Then pass the word! Post it on your Facebook page!
I've registered my hubby and myself for the Sacramento march. Over 5,000 people have said they are definitely going, and another 14,000 say they are interested.
We need to be promoting this!
