Just posting this for anyone interested who doesn't know about it. I'm thinking seriously of going - Portland's not that far away.

1. Damn, wish I'd known about that sooner

My wife and I LOVE Portland..probably going there next year, but not enough time to squeeze in a jaunt next month. Anyone who hasn't been and is thinking about it should definitely try to make it!

2. That sounds like fun

We won't be able to make it because

1. We live all the way on the other side of the county - in South East Florida
2. We already have a trip planned for October 4-11, so it would be impossible to go to Portland.

I hope everyone else gets a chance to make it though.
