and I have to say that it would resonate with just about all the former Christians. I did not have bad experiences with religion, but I did suffer a great deal with questions and guilt when I realized that I was no longer a believer....and people around me still try to make me feel that guilt. So #2 really resonated with me...until I hit #3.

I think that if Christians would be forced to attend religious ceremonies from other religions, they would see just how it feels to be an atheist who is attending their ceremonies. Being around so many believers, many of whom are very invested in their faith, makes it hard on anyone who does not have their belief, but they cannot see it.

Your son is wise beyond his years. You must be proud. And I am glad that he was able to make your experience a good one while attending the event.

Maybe make it look like a tract with some awe-inspiring pictures and a big font.
