Name the most atheistic sit com: I don't watch them, so I really have no clue.

I'm just wondering if that isn't the surest way to break through religious addiction.

1. Seinfeld was irreverent, but I don't think fundies are smart enough to get it.

We watch shows that validate our beliefs.

Religious addiction is what you and I might call it, but they call it faith. Faith conquers all, because it is anything they want it to be. They don't want to be cured of that addiction because it makes them feel good. Their drug of choice.

2. I never thought of Seinfeld. Good one. Totally skeptical.

You're right of course. I was just hoping there are some young tv people who are representing the godless youth: I keep seeing evidence that most people are followers, and I'm hoping there's something better to follow.

I was thinking about Big Bang Theory, honestly. That's probably helping.

3. "Northern Exposure" had an atheist or two, and was pretty non-religious in general. nt

5. The Big Bang Theory

Sheldon mocks god and religion while battling his evangelical mother.
The show is in its 12th (and last) season and the comedy writing is as good as ever.

13. that would be my pick, but I don't watch a lot of TV

they do a good job of bringing Sheldon's mother in as the religious foil, plus using Leonard's mother as the atheistic person.

10. Not a sitcom, but House.

The main character was an atheist.

So far doesn’t feel religious at all.
