I need a new weather radio. Need suggestions.

I have an older Eton and it is a mess. The dial went touchy on me. Need an all round alert one as well as want it for my kitchen (for music) both using batteries as well as plug in. Would like something that has solar also if possible. I have a small Eton crank one so don't need that. My biggest issue is that reception here is not great at times. $100 or less. Any suggestions?

Can't say how long it will last, though! And it's not a full radio, just NOAA. Good luck whatever one you get...

Has the ability to notify three levels of alerts and breaks in with announcements. I live rural and pretty good reception also. Not pricey at all I paid under $60. Wanted solar charging but will have to wait until the new eton comes out. The whole back is a solar panel.

department down the hill, in a community, sounded a siren when a tornado was in the area. I lived on a the highest place in the area and they came to my place to do their look out.

I saw a number of little twisters go through my pasture and there was a storm cellar, UGH. It was impossible to grow any trees there. Because the wind or twisters took them out. Arid area, too.

Hope that your purchase keeps you safe from bad weather events.
