91° -109° this coming week.

Japan’s heat is taking a toll on the summer Olympics, making it more difficult for athletes already facing challenges from the pandemic to compete at their highest level.

The heat is tough -- it’s very humid, dense heat,” U.S. rugby player Ilona Maher told Bloomberg on Wednesday. “Our dietitian and trainer create ways to somehow cool our bodies -- whether it’s cool towels or we eat popsicles.”

3. Canada's rowing team took into account Tokyo summer heat and blew hot humid air into their training

facilities to prepare. The women's 8 won the gold for Canada.

6. Awful!

Humid, dense heat is the WORST! (Had it growing up in NY area; hence beaches were popular.
