Evening

First Quarter Moon meets Jupiter: The Waxing Moon meets Jupiter tonight for a beautiful pairing of two of the brightest objects in the sky. If you go out between 5:30 and 6:00 pm be sure to look for super bright Venus in the SW sky. Much dimmer Saturn is off to the right of the First Quarter Moon and Jupiter. If you are not sure if something you are looking at is a planet, here is a way to check, 'Planets Don't Twinkle'. So, if you see a pretty bright 'star' in the night sky and it does not twinkle, it's probably a planet. ((Sorry I didn't catch planets.))
