I was out about 3:30 am this morning seeing if there was much action coming from the radiant of Perseus, since it'll be a full moon during the height of the Perseid meteor shower this year.
I only saw one meteor, but there were so many cool things in the ENE and Eastern sky it was well worth it. Venus is brilliant. I'm taking my telescope tonight.
