Simple, a sign of hope.
After about a week of dodging wildfires, and running almost empty on propane for the generator, a feeling of "normal" (and what's so normal about weeks of daytime highs never breaking below 90 in the foothills, with no end in sight? )
This was my first view of the Oak Fire.

A neighbor CLOSER to the fire took this from their driveway before hauling ass.
It's a terrible hack composite from pieces of a very large video, but I think it gets the message across.
