Hello friends. I don't know if any of you will remember ceveritt who was a member of this group

a while back.

I'm sad to inform you all that Charles (aka tuna) passed away on July 4th of this year from an apparent heart attack.
I had not heard from him in a while so I did some investigating and contacted other folks from his FB page to find out if his account had been hacked or if indeed he'd passed away.

Charles never got over the loss of his loving wife and I guess I believe he died of a broken heart.

Whatever your belief structure is, it's my wish (hopefully yours too) that he is somehow reunited with her soul.

May they both rest in peace.

thanks.
kesha

Hospice, we did not object.

They are both missed, but at least they aren't missing one another.

i did a google search for some of his posts here and am seeing a lot from 2010, on the old du.

i ran across one where he wrote:
"Once, when I was in hospital and things weren't looking particularly great, Kathryn told me, "If you die, I'll kill myself and come after you, goddammit!" I wish I'd gone after her when she died."

He and I emailed back and forth for a few years. I felt so helpless and his sense of hopelessness was almost palpable.

I can only hope that he's found his love again . . .

I 'pray' (I'm not a religious person) but I do 'pray' to some higher power somewhere that he's found rest.

I feel so badly that I didn't know for so long that he'd died. No one would have known to contact me and I no details, not that I need any. I'm just really sorry that there wasn't one more email. He was a sweet friend and I've missed his 'chats'.

i remember how he spoke of his deep sadness, and your sense of helplessness was understandable. but you let him know you cared. and that is so important.
