We're going to build her up as an action star because she has the muscularly toned body and the gong fu ability. I've known this girl for about three years.

3. Yes she does, but I don't disclose client information like that online

And, before I get the "you're sexist" for using "girl," if you call a female in her 20s a "woman" in China, they get angry because "woman" implies "old, mothered and married."

They prefer being called "girls" until they are married.

4. I would imagine your client is looking to be famous

why would saying her name break client confidentially? Most Actresses want their name out there so they gain popularity? Do you mean to tell me if DEMI MOORE was your client you wouldn't be bragging about it? Yeah, sure this women is probably getting started in the business but Ziyi Zhang didn't become world famous in one night. It took a film like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon to put her in the Americans spot light. Most Asian actresses complain that Hollywood seems to have a problem about finding parts for Asian Actresses. Than you get a movie like the new GHOST IN THE SHELL MOVIE that Hires a white woman to play a Japanese woman's part.

5. I am an exec for my company's Hong Kong subsidiary. I am also the head writer

I live in China. There will be no shortage of parts for "Asian" actors and actresses looking to break into the business in Hollywood.

Or you get Gods of Egypt that hires white people to play black roles.

I understand. My English name is Yesenia Chen. I'm about to sign a second too.

Believe me Yuiyoshida, the days of white girls playing Asian female parts are over in my company. I write specifically for hollywood Asian stories. I am writing one on the fall of the Shang Dynasty as well as a Korean movie about a comfort woman in WW2 trying to escape the Japanese and get her daughter out of Korea.

I already wrote a K-pop movie, a period piece about the Rape of Nanking and a two Chinese action pieces that are in pre-production.

6. Well, look how long it took for Jackie Chan to become a House hold name in America

I am sure he is very famous in Asia. I met him once in Hollywood, that was a thrill. But Most people don't even know that Jackie was an unknown extra in a Bruce Lee Movie. You want to talk about the struggle to get Recognition, Bruce Lee is a fine example. When making the KUNG FU movie David Carradine was chosen over Bruce Lee. Or how about the messed up movie of using Michelle Yeoh and Ziyi Zhang to play JAPANESE women in Memoirs of a Geisha. Hollywood in its early days even used this guy in a famous American TV show, Gilligan's Island! No, he is not even close to being Asian!

Talk about insulting. I hope your actress does well and becomes famous in America. Its an uphill struggle but once they get the spotlight in America, there's the chance of world fame.

I have to tell you, A few years ago, I helped a Japanese band, called JINNYOOPS when some idiot stole their guitars and baggage, before they were flying home. I pitched in and got them 500 dollars to help with a plane ticket, as did others. They remembered that kindness and when they toured the USA again, and came to San Francisco, invited me to have dinner with them, at my favorite Sushi Restaurant. They told me that joining up with the JAPAN NITE group and touring the USA was the best thing for boosting their standings in Japan. There are many BANDS coming from Osaka, and not all get the spotlight they need to become a hot ticket. When JINNYOOPS came to the USA and toured here, the very fact they played in the UNITED STATES made them an instant sensation in Japan. To Japanese they were world famous just by coming to play a few gigs in a few major cities, Like Boston, New York City, Chicago, Seattle and San Francisco!

It allowed them to return to the Bay Area and make this video, that is also famous in Japan!

7. Believe me, I know I have an uphill battle with stereotypes in Hollywood.

Lucy Liu has always been typecast as a bitch and she longs for a romantic lead. I think I have one for her, but it will need time to develop interest in the script.
