Do Chinese People Go Out For American Food?

1. She mentions at one point that American Chinese food taste like Guangzhou food

Where I am at a lot of the American Chinese food places are run by people from Guangzhou
So makes sense she thinks of Guangzhou and Hong Kong if that is true where they are eating at also

If the Guangzhou places are in a neighborhood with a lot of Mexican Americans in the area I notice it is the same foods but they add jalapeños to half the dishes
Which is sometimes an improvement
sometimes way off
Jewish areas they leave out all pork dishes so they cater to the people and thier existing palates
I never understand why they don't have a lot more fish vegetable dishes that area uses . Maybe they have found out all Americans want beef chicken instead
I love fish and veggie dishes so I am more inclined to go to authentic mainland China food restaurants even though restaurants with owners from coastal places should have a lot but are more slanted to American taste buds for thier restaurants
Everything is good and better than McDs IMO
