3. I have watched Tony Bourdain going to Vietnam since 2001

with A Cook's Tour, No Reservations and Parts Unknown. I knew a lot about of these foods via Tony and was one of the few non-Vietnamese in my area to seek out these yummy treats long before anyone even heard of Pho. I was lucky to teach in an area that has a lot of Asians and the students' would invite me to their birthday parties...It was heaven on Earth! I quickly learned that you wear socks without holes in the toes since outside the front door all the shoes were piled high and on the way out the door my arms were piled high with tons of treats to take home.
