My friend is Chinese and while she was standing in line at the grocery store. She swallowed wrong and started coughing. The people around her backed away so she just let everyone know she was not sick but she had just swallowed wrong. SHe thought it was pretty funny.

She already gets stupid comments from stupid people - go back where you cane from; speak English when sees other Chinese people and they speak Chinese. I'm afraid Chinese people are going to suffer more ignorance from prejudiced people over this.
